We’ve made it to 15 weeks and we know that Baby Patterson is a baby girl! Her name is Rayley Sue Patterson and we can’t wait to meet her. ๐Ÿ’“ Mommy is having headaches pretty frequently but now has a very prominent “bump”. I have been feeling great as far as energy and nausea, none of those things just those pesky headaches that a little coffee helps ๐Ÿ˜Š I can’t complain! Baby girl is the size of an orange now and she is steady growing. The doctor said she and Mommy are having a wonderful pregnancy thus far and we pray it continues to stay that way! We had an awesome gender reveal party this weekend with over 40 family and friends. She is already very popular! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐ŸŽ€ ย Below is her 14 week ultrasound and the voting board showing that the majority of our friends and family thought she was going to be a he! She fooled them ๐Ÿ˜Š

Our First Pregnancy – 11 & 12 weeks!

Weeks 11 and 12 have been great so far! I’ve felt great and I’ve been working my way back into the gym ๐Ÿ™‚

I had my 12 week appointment and the doctor gave us the great news that the growth and heartrate were exactly what he was looking for at a 12 week appointment. Baby’s heartrate is staying between 165-170 so everyone is predicting a little girl! (Of course, we know that’s not always an indicator but it’s a fun way to guess!) Daddy and Mommy are already getting ready to spoil either one ๐Ÿ™‚

Our gender reveal party is also planned for October 18th since we get to find out what we are having at 14 weeks! Our doctor is super cool ๐Ÿ˜‰

Can’t wait to update on the gender, a new ultrasound picture and maybe even a bump picture, as well!

Our First Pregnancy – Weeks 9 & 10!

These past two weeks have been quite pleasant, luckily. I haven’t had very much nausea or any horrible symptoms. I have actually been able to start going to the gym and doing light cardio with some light lifting without getting light-headed or nauseous and I’ve mixed in more daring foods to my diet, such as spicy foods, etc. Heartburn hasn’t come back which is also amazing!!

Our little one is definitely growing by the day and we can’t wait to find out what he or she in just a few weeks at 14 weeks!ย Hopefully more positive updates to come ๐Ÿ™‚

Our First Pregnancy – Weeks 7 & 8!

After week 6, I started feeling a little more normal day by day. I still had to be careful and eat saltines crackers as soon as my eyes opened in the mornings. But, by the end of week 7 the nausea and heartburn subsided and my diet was getting back to normal. I’m still super tired and we still go to bed at 8 pm or 9pm every night!

Week 8 finally came and we got to see this little nugget growing so rapidly inside of me! Doc changed my due date from April 10, 2016 to April 8, 2015 based on the length of Baby. Baby’s heart rate was 171 and super strong. Doc said the pregnancy should be a great one. There’s nothing like hearing that little heartbeat and knowing everything is ok!

My diet has finally (slowly) got back to normal and I can eat all my favorite healthy recipes again!

Workouts are slim to none at the moment. I tried the gym on a few different occasions and I kept getting light headed and felt crummy. I’m having to slowly make my way back in there as I hope to be working out full force by the second trimester!

Current cravings: ranch dressing (on everything!), fruit, and cereal (and drinking the milk, which I never used to do!)
